Job summary

7-Eleven Malaysia is seeking a skilled software developer to design, build, and maintain web applications and services. The role involves API and database work, system integrations, and ensuring high-quality code through reviews and standards adherence.

The candidate will collaborate with project managers and technical teams, provide mentorship to junior developers, and participate in design discussions to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least two of React.js, Next.js, Python, or .NET.
• Ability to write and optimize SQL queries.
• Experience leading dev teams and delivering projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications and software solutions.
• Develop and maintain APIs, database queries, and system integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, performance, and production issues.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, business users, and other technical teams to deliver projects successfully.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Participate in system design, technical discussions, and solution evaluation.
• Support application deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.
