Job summary

EPAM Systems in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer (Kotlin + React/Angular) to modernize and support an online car sales platform. You will develop full stack features, refactor existing systems, fix vulnerabilities and apply secure standards.

Collaboration with local and global teams and responsible use of AI tools are expected. You will contribute to on-going production support, document technical details, and participate in Scrum or Kanban delivery.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java, Kotlin for backend and full stack tasks.
• Experience with React for front-end delivery.
• Knowledge of AngularJS and/or Svelte to support existing UI components.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and secure development standards.
• Clear English communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• Nice to have migratory experience from AngularJS to modern Angular.
• Exposure to testing approaches such as TDD and observability practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance full stack features using Java, Kotlin and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Maintain and improve existing systems through refactoring and upgrades.
• Fix vulnerabilities and apply secure coding standards.
• Build reliable user interfaces and integrate with back-end services.
• Collaborate with local and global teams within Scrum or Kanban.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and quality.
• Provide application maintenance and production support, including on-call rotation.
• Create technical documentation to support ongoing ownership.
