Job summary

EPAM Systems in Malaysia is seeking a Lead Full-Stack Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of modern software solutions. You will lead a cross-functional engineering team, guide technical decisions, and contribute hands-on across backend and frontend components.

The role emphasizes system design, product-driven engineering, strong ownership, and collaboration with stakeholders to define roadmaps while driving architectural excellence on Azure/AWS.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Spring Boot backend development and modern frontend frameworks (Angular or React).
• Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, microservices and event-driven systems.
• Ability to design and guide end-to-end solutions, from database to UI.
• Experience working with Postgres, MongoDB, or CosmosDB.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows, Agile delivery, CI/CD environments.
• Proven experience in a senior or lead role, mentoring engineers and coordinating delivery with stakeholders.
• Exposure to Azure/AWS cloud and DevOps pipelines.

Responsibilities
