Job summary

Kenanga Group is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to contribute across all software development phases and lead delivery. You will help set up the DevOps pipeline, including requirement gathering, repo management, auto build, test and deployment.

Responsibilities include building low-latency, scalable applications using Java/JEE with Spring Boot, frontend in Native JS, and supporting CI/CD automation tests and performance tests. Collaboration across Web services and APIs is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 6 years' experience.
• At least 4 years' experience on Java backend projects.
• Proficient in Java/JEE and Spring Boot.
• Experience with automation and performance tools (Selenium, JMeter).
• Experience in Azure environment and MS SQL.
• Knowledge of Kafka and ELK is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement low-latency, high-availability applications.
• Build front-end using Native JS and contribute to team delivery.
• Support DevOps processes including CI/CD, auto build/test/deploy.
• Review deployments and troubleshoot across the stack.
• Develop agile documentation and improve processes.

Job description

As the Group is working towards massive technology transformation, the Senior Full Stack Engineer role will expect to involve in all phases of software development and leading the team for delivery. To fully adopt into DevOps process, you are responsible to setup the entire pipeline including requirement gathering, application library repository, application auto build, auto test and auto deployment

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation of low-latency, high availability and performant applications
• Knowledge in building front end application using Native JS
• Demonstrating a strong work ethic, a "can do" attitude and being highly productive.
• Learning new technologies and developing tools to remain abreast of current technology, while leveraging your skills in legacy technologies to support existing platform development activities.
• Helping in CI/CD especially the automation testing and performance testing.
• Either involve in Web development or API (backend) that involving Webservices

2.Technical Problems / Issues Management

• Review deployment and operational environments, i.e., execute initiatives to reduce failure, troubleshoot issues across the entire infrastructure stack, expand monitoring capabilities, and manage technical operations.
• Must target to work towards resolving technical problems/ issues
• Develop agile way of documentations and improve current processes.

3.Self- Development

• Attend relevant trainings
• To achieve minimum scoring of Annual Regulatory Seminar
• Regular Knowledge Sharing and Learning outcome

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge/Skills/Attributes

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science related field with 6 years equivalent experienced required.
• At least 4 years' experience on Java projects for backend
• Proficient in technology and languages such as Java/JEE, Spring Boot framework
• Experience on Automation and Performances Tools such as Selenium, JMeter
• Experience in working on Azure environment and RDMS DB, especially MS SQL would be an additional advantage
• Have knowledge on Kafka, ELK would be added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
