Job summary

Maybank is seeking a versatile Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in Java and React to build scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications.

You will design end-to-end solutions across the stack, translate business needs into robust technical implementations, and collaborate with architects, product owners, and QA in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and React.js.
• Experience with MSSQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases.
• Ability to design UI/UX flows and components in Figma.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Understanding of security best practices in software development.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) and React.js.
• Architecture & Design: Collaborate with architects and product owners to define scalable system designs.
• API Development: Build and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring performance, security, and maintainability.
• UI/UX Integration: Translate wireframes and design prototypes into responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools like JUnit.
• Code Reviews & Mentorship: Participate in peer reviews and support junior developers through technical guidance.
• Agile Delivery: Contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery in Agile environments.
