Job summary

Capture Consulting Malaysia is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our agile engineering team. Build and maintain high-performance, user-facing web apps using React, Next.js, and TypeScript, collaborating with design and product teams to deliver polished UI.

You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to technical direction, optimize performance, and ensure best practices across SEO, Core Web Vitals, and security. Remote-friendly hybrid options are available in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of professional React.js experience.
• Experience with SSR, SSG, ISR rendering strategies.
• Strong semantic HTML and modern CSS.
• Proficient with the Node.js ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of SEO, Core Web Vitals, security.
• Experience implementing secure auth flows (JWT, OAuth 2.0).
• Proven mentoring or team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interactive, performant web apps using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with product teams and UI/UX designers using design system.
• Provide estimates for new features and assist in scoping.
• Define and monitor performance via APM and logging.
• Document architecture and manage technical debt.
• Work with backend to optimize data retrieval.
• Conduct PR reviews and uphold code quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and grow frontend capability.
• Stay current with frontend technologies and industry trends.
