Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a highly skilled Frontend Developer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to enhance user-centric digital banking solutions. You'll work in an agile team, focusing on product development and modern software practices.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in web application development, particularly with JavaScript and ReactJS. You'll be integral to building innovative and maintainable web applications, ensuring a high-quality user experience.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience on Web application development (JavaScript, TypeScript, >=ES6).
• Expert on one of the web frameworks – ReactJS / Vue / Angular.
• Expert on responsive UI design and resolve compatibility issues (HTML5 & CSS).
• Experience in building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design.

Responsibilities

• Develop a new generation of Digital Banking to enhance user experience.
• Work closely with Product Owner to deliver user-centric solutions.
• Promote adoption of Agile and modern software engineering practices.
• Collaborate with core DevOps and Testing teams for continuous delivery.
