Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead freight forwarding activities in Penang. You will oversee end-to-end shipment processes, coordinate with warehouse, export/import, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Logistics or related field, 3–5 years of freight forwarding experience, and proven leadership abilities, with strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills. On-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
• 3–5 years in freight forwarding with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of port systems, DagangNet, and customs procedures.
• Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and port authorities.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers on shipment enquiries and updates, resolve customer complaints, delays, or shipment issues promptly, maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business, and provide excellent customer service and support
• Coordinate end-to-end shipment process (export/import/transshipment), ensure compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements, monitor shipment movement and ensure timely delivery, and coordinate with warehouse and transport teams for cargo handling.
• Ensure accuracy of all shipping documents and system entries, handle customs clearance coordination and documentation, ensure compliance with import/export procedures and Incoterms, and maintain proper record-keeping for all shipments
• Handle shipment delays, cargo damage, or customs issues, provide solutions and alternatives to minimize disruption, and provide internal updates on shipment status and issues to relevant stakeholders
