About the Role

The Senior FP&A Analyst coordinates and performs financial controlling and planning duties related to the Asia Cocoa business. He/she delivers timely and accurate standard and ad-hoc management reports with variance analysis and comments, based on data available in various systems (e.g. BW, BOFC). This job gets guidance and support from the Finance BP Asia Cocoa and works closely with the accounting teams.


Key responsibilities include
• Analyzing and reporting of financial results of Asia Cocoa business
• Supporting month end close of key entities
• Support Senior Manager FP&A Asia Cocoa and Finance BP for Asia Cocoa in complex financial topics like Mark-to-Market valuation, portfolio evaluation
• Ensure cost effectiveness, drive financial and operational transparency and support performance optimization
• Budgeting, forecasting and mid-term planning
• Ensure strong partnering will all finance functions in below levels (local); as well as with other divisional functions (HR, CSD, QA, …)
• Working on various adhoc finance projects (e.g. business case calculation, process improvement, tool development, accounting reviews etc.)

About You
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• At least 7 years of hands-on experience in finance, controlling, or financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
• Prior exposure to the commodities or manufacturing sector is an added advantage
• Experience working within a global FP&A setup in a multinational corporation
• Familiarity with finance systems such as SAP (including BW, BOFC), Tagetik, and related tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Advanced Excel skills, including use of tables, pivot tables, and lookup functions
• Knowledge of automation and data tools like VBA, Power BI, PowerQuery, or PowerPivot is a strong advantage
• Business-level proficiency in English
• A strong analytical mindset with excellent quantitative and data visualization capabilities
• A keen interest in understanding business operations and driving continuous improvement
• An inquisitive, detail-oriented approach paired with a passion for using data to enable smarter decisions
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify and present complex data clearly
• A collaborative spirit with proven teamwork experience
• Willingness to travel across the APAC region based on business requirements
