Job summary

Hyppies Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the technical design of scalable financial products used across Malaysia. You will collaborate with stakeholders to capture goals, define architecture, and drive a roadmap for mission-critical systems with high availability.

The role requires hands-on architecture leadership, deep fintech domain experience, and strong Java/microservices skills to deliver API-first, event-driven solutions and modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience owning and participating in architecture discussions.
• Background in banking or fintech environments (core banking, cards, e-wallets, payments).
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, API design, governance and messaging patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and oversee production of scalable financial products used by millions in Malaysia.
• Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and define the technical architecture and roadmap.
• Drive brownfield modernization including legacy decomposition, re-platforming and API-first transformation.
