PwC Malaysia is seeking an Experienced Associate in our Financial Services Assurance team. You will support audits of banks, insurers, asset managers and other financial services organisations, taking ownership of audit areas and building client relationships.

You will apply sound professional judgement, raise issues promptly and use data and technology to support high‑quality work, while adhering to PwC’s independence and ethical standards.

Formación

• A recognised degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• ACCA / ICAEW / MICPA or CPA Australia or active progress towards one is strongly preferred.
• At least one year of external audit experience, including exposure to financial services clients.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and lead assigned sections of financial statement audits, including risk assessment and documentation.
• Understand client business, products, systems and controls to identify risks.
• Perform and review audit work in financial services areas such as instruments, expected credit losses, valuations and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day fieldwork and track progress against timelines.
• Review work prepared by Associates and provide coaching to junior team members.
• Communicate findings clearly with client teams and prepare concise summaries for managers and partners.
• Use data analytics and audit technology to improve focus, consistency and documentation quality.
