Ansell is looking for Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our team in Cyberjaya. This role will support Asia North Commercial Unit (CU) which consists of both Medical and Industrial business across Asia North. This CU is expected to see rapid growth with investments driving more share of wallet and market penetration for Ansell with KBU expected to boost growth potential higher.
This position assist in Month End Sales and Gross profit closing and reporting activities of Subregions within the CU; Regional reporting requirement on Sales Billable, Sales WF report, Sales Contribution report and others ad-hoc works.
This position will also help handle consolidation of EMAP’s KBU financials and analytics, working across with other CU FP&A resources.
Handling Quarterly Forecasts and Annual Budgeting data assembly including analysis and FCCS/PBCS Sales and COGS data upload and reconciliation of Subregions within the CU are also within the scope of this role.
Special assignments which include process improvement projects can be tagged on.

What your role will be?
Reporting to Assoc. Director of Finance (APAC), you will have the opportunity to:
On a monthly basis, include but not limited to these activities:
- Review accruals and adjustments made by Accounting (including shared service) teams i.e. margin adjustments to COGS and expenses (distribution, SG&A)
- Monitor and review rebates programs to ensure accurate accrual of rebates and review with stakeholders
- Reconciliation of manual adjustments between BI tools (e.g. GIS Sales and Margin) and reporting systems for sales and margin
- Assist to prepare CU report packs for Asia North and reviews them with Assoc Director.
- Variance analysis on MTD and YTD results vs budget, forecast and prior year
- Support monthly waterfall process, liaising closely with sales Teams and weighing in duly based on analytics
- Help track performance management (SIPs).
On a quarterly basis,
- Contribute to assumptions made in the forecast process
- Tracking KPIs
- Prepare the Quarterly Financial Forecast, leveraging the Committed Plan and providing feedback to the Demand Planners on issues and concerns, i.e. gaps and ascertain usability for corporate forecast
- Prepare and distribute forecast templates internally within the CU
- Update for standard cost changes and quantify the change impact
- Consolidate, upload and review forecasts into PBCS / GIS / FCCS systems
- Complete the quarterly productivity metrics for the CU
Others
- Consolidate KBU overview across EMAP financials
- Conduct analytics to help identify and flag concerns
- Prepare reporting and tracking of KPIs
- Assists in evaluation of business cases where needed, to help drive accelerated growth initiatives
- Prepare and Review profitability analysis for new business opportunities / initiatives
- Prepare Business Modelling to address changing business conditions (i.e. sales loss, gross profit erosion, currency impacts and expense levels).
- Provide ongoing commercial support, projects and ad-hoc financial analysis for all other commercial activities.
What will you bring to Ansell?
- Degree in Accounting, Finance
- Experience in financial analysis including having worked in a multinational Consumer or healthcare products or financial services industry. Good knowledge of general accounting principles with emphasis on financial analysis, planning techniques and business intelligence.
Knowledge and Skills
- Must have excellent communication skills, able to convey complex financial terminology in layman terms to the internal business teams
- Proficiency on Excel (advanced level) and PowerPoint. Experience in D365/Oracle, FCCS/HFM, QlikView, Power BI will be an advantage.
- Proven ability to work with diversified group of individuals in an international environment with varying timezones.
- Candidate should be detail oriented, organized, work well both individually and as part of a team.
- Needs to be able to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
