Key Responsibilities:

Report and assist the Chief Operating Officer & Business Controller (Control Department) with the following tasks:

• Financial Analysis:

  1. Conducting comprehensive financial analysis of company performance, identifying trends, and potential issues.
  2. Analysing financial data to assess the financial health of the company and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Performing variance analysis to identify deviations from budgets and forecasts.

• Enhanced FP&A Tasks:

  1. Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance.
  2. Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to evaluate potential business decisions.
  3. Partner with business units to provide financial guidance on new projects or initiatives.
  4. Analyse market trends, competitive benchmarks, and economic data to inform strategic planning.
  5. Support mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures by creating valuation models and due diligence reports.

• Reporting and Communication:

  1. Preparing financial reports, presentations, and other documents for management and stakeholders.
  2. Communicating financial information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  3. Providing financial guidance and recommendations to management.
  4. Developing and managing budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  5. Building and maintaining financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  6. Assisting with financial planning and analysis.
  7. Monitoring economic trends and making recommendations for improvement.
  8. Assisting with close processes.
  9. Staying up-to-date with accounting laws and regulations.
  10. Evaluating business records and profit plans.
  11. Assisting with budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, shared services, and financing.
