Arrow Electronics in Penang is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to be a trusted advisor to regional management and sales teams, delivering monthly P&L analysis, variance exploration, and insightful financial commentary.

You will build financial models for profitability, ROI, pricing, and costs, participate in annual planning, report on KPIs and headcount, and collaborate across functions to drive efficiency in a global business environment.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a 4-year degree.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and GAAP.
• Experience in a global or large multinational company preferred.
• HFM experience preferred.

Job Description:

What You’ll Be Doing

• Act as a trusted business and financial advisor to regional management and sales teams
• Deliver detailed P&L analysis monthly to finance and regional leadership. Including but not limited to variance and trend analysis and offering finance/operational insights where applicable
• Provide comprehensive reporting on financial statements, business metrics, KPI’s, headcount and costs
• Participate in the annual planning and budgeting processes to support executive decision making
• Create financial models to support data driven decision making on profitability, ROWC, ROI, pricing, special transactions, extended payment terms
• Participate in finance initiatives and projects
• Work cross functionally with various teams locally and globally to complete assignments
• Contribute ideas to continually improving processes and drive efficiency within the organization
• Have a strong understanding of the business environment
• Assists with internal audits and SOX audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls
• Supports the analysis and reporting on performance and results of multiple related units
• Solves complex problems and recommend solutions with minimal guidance
• Provides analytical and strategic input to management when appropriate

What We Are Looking For

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a 4-year degree
• Must be proficient in English and be able to communicate effectively (both written and spoken)
• Strong financial modeling and analysis skills with MS Excel mastery
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and GAAP
