Binance is a leading global blockchain ecosystem seeking a senior professional to design and implement automation across Finance workflows. You will translate finance requirements into scalable solutions, partnering closely with Engineering to create robust automation and data pipelines.

Responsibilities include building AI-assisted workflows, ensuring accounting controls, and embedding finance data models into system design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years combining finance with technical implementation.
• Solid understanding of core accounting processes incl. double-entry, accruals, reconciliations.
• Hands-on coding in Python, Java, SQL, or similar languages.
• Ability to independently build lightweight tools, scripts, and automation solutions.
• Strong business understanding with ability to translate finance needs into system logic.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of automation, data architecture, and system improvements across core Finance workflows, with a focus on accounting processes such as double-entry bookkeeping, accruals, and reconciliation with banks and third-party platforms.
• Own the translation of Finance requirements into scalable technical solutions, acting as the key interface between Finance and Engineering teams, translating finance requirements into practical system and automation solutions.
• Architect and deliver finance automation frameworks, including workflow orchestration, rules-based accounting logic, exception handling, and integrations with ERP systems.
• Drive the adoption of agentic finance capabilities by identifying opportunities to embed intelligent automation, decision support, and AI-assisted workflow execution into Finance operations.
• Build or oversee development, scripting, data pipelines, and workflow automation solutions independently, while partnering with engineering or data teams on more complex development work.
• Identify process bottlenecks, control gaps, and manual dependencies, and lead the design of tooling or system enhancements to reduce operational risk and improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Ensure accounting logic, financial controls, and reporting requirements are appropriately embedded into system design, automation workflows, and downstream data models.Establish standards for finance data models, automation governance, documentation, and change management to support sustainable scaling of Finance systems.
• Work cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Engineering, Data, and Compliance teams to deliver strategic finance transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in roles that combine finance domain knowledge with technical implementation.
• Solid understanding of core accounting and finance processes, especially double-entry bookkeeping, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Hands-on coding ability in Python, Java, SQL, or similar languages, with practical experience applying code to solve finance or accounting problems.
• Ability to independently build, troubleshoot, or improve lightweight tools, scripts, and automation solutions.
• Strong business understanding, with the ability to translate finance requirements into system logic and practical automation solutions.
• Candidates with a stronger engineering background should ideally have exposure to finance systems.
• Candidates from a finance background should at minimum demonstrate a strong product mindset and practical vibe coding ability.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with finance, product, engineering, and data teams.
• Experience in fintech, crypto, or other fast-paced environments is a plus.
