Job summary

Sibelco Malaysia Sdn Bhd, HQ APAC Sub Regional Office, seeks an experienced Accountant to manage finance activities for Singapore and partially support Malaysia. You will ensure IFRS-compliant reporting, consolidate data, and support budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance.

Reporting to the Manager, Business Services, you will collaborate with stakeholders, prepare statements, and contribute to performance analysis while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and professional certification preferred (CPA/ACCA).
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience in finance.
• Strong consolidation of financial data with high Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication with stakeholders.
• Experience with SAP CO and Power BI is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger management and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare IFRS-compliant financial reports and statutory statements.
• Develop budgets/forecasts and monitor variances with explanations.
• Ensure tax compliance and timely filings for local regulations.
