A leading construction and property developer seeks a Senior Finance Manager to oversee financial management at their Kuala Lumpur office. The successful candidate will manage finance reporting, cash flow for projects, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. This role requires significant experience and strong leadership skills in the property development sector.

This is a leading construction and property developer with substantial projects across Malaysia. Due to business expansion, they now have an opportunity for a dynamic Senior Finance Manager to join their finance team based at their corporate head office at Cheras areal in the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur.
Job Description
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller in the management of the corporate finance team.
As the Senior Finance Manager, you will be managing full functionality of finance reporting. The role will be responsible for overall financial management of companies majoring in property development and engineering & construction portfolio.
Specific scope of duties include:
·Assess/arrange funding need for property development projects, manage cash flow.
·Manage and maintain/coordinate for the property project reports, revenue and cost recognition working for monthly closing purpose in compliance to MFRS and Tax requirements and tax reporting.
·Responsible for treasury functions and cash flow reporting of property segment.
·Participate in project feasibility study/land bank evaluation.
·Manage and coordinate in statutory audit with external auditor.
·Manage monthly reporting/closing and coordinate for HQ reporting.
·Manage resource planning and provide guidance for staff training.
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidate should possess accounting qualification,either a Bachelor degree or ACCA/CIMA graduate (MIA member) preferably with experience in the construction and property development sector/industry.
A significant experience of at least 8-10 years in a similar financial portfolio role is required with solid technical background in terms of MFRS and property development lifecycle.
Excellent communication skills (English, BM and Chinese/Mandarin)
Advance level Excel abilities and Power Point presentation skills plus accounting software application relating to Property development (Sage,SAP,IFCA)
Strong leadership skills.
