Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Finance Manager to join our team. The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for leading our financial reporting team, overseeing various financial functions including P&L management, NWC, Compliance, aging follow-ups, regional liaison, monthly forecasting, budgeting, FP&A reporting, SOX Controls and intercompany balancing. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving financial strategy and ensuring the company's financial health and operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment, particularly within the advertising sector. Regional handling experience is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the financial reporting team, providing guidance and support to team members to ensure efficient and effective execution of financial tasks and responsibilities.
  • Oversee P&L management and NWC, ensuring accurate tracking, analysis, and reporting of financial performance against targets and objectives in a fast-paced advertising environment.
  • Conduct aging follow-ups to monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments and minimizing bad debt risk.
  • Serve as a regional liaison, collaborating with regional teams to address financial challenges, optimize processes, and support business growth initiatives.
  • Lead the monthly forecasting and budgeting process, working closely with stakeholders to develop accurate and actionable financial plans.
  • Prepare and present FP&A reports to senior management, providing comprehensive analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensuring the group SOX Controls are implemented throughout.
  • Facilitate intercompany balancing activities, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of intercompany transactions and accounts.
Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting with professional qualification (MIA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent)
  • Min ten years' work experience in similar capacity with at least 5 years' work experience at a managerial level
  • Proven track record of effectively leading teams and liaising with Regional stakeholders and driving results in fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of principles, practices and regulations. Technical knowledge and experience in IFRS, MFRS, BNM Policy Documents/Guidelines, Income Tax Act 1967
  • Soft skills: Leadership, Problem-solving, Analytical thinking, Teamwork, Time management, Report writing and Analysis, Communication
  • Exceptional communication skills with high proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in SAP or relevant financial managemen
