Senior Finance Executive / Finance Manager

We are currently hiring experienced Finance professionals for Finance Manager and Senior Finance Executive positions, who bring strong experience in finance, accounting, and trust operations, preferably with a banking, finance, and accounting, or trustee background. Familiarity with SQL Accounting software is essential.

Finance Manager

Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Malaysian law and trustee regulations.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow to optimize working capital and ensure fiduciary responsibilities are met.

Oversee risk management related to financial reporting and trustee fund management.

Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, including tax filings, audit coordination, and regulatory submissions.

Liaise effectively with trustees, investment managers, auditors, and regulators.

Drive process improvements and system automation, including using SQL for data extraction and reconciliation.

Lead, coach, and develop the finance team to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Monitor treasury operations, banking transactions, and fund reconciliations.

Work together with other business units on a team collaboration to complete the task.

Any other ad hoc task assigned by the company.

Senior Finance Executive

Accurately process day-to-day banking transactions, trust receipts, payments, and fund movements.

Maintain and organize trustee agreements, banking mandates, and investment documentation.

Assist with tax compliance, including SST and income tax filings.

Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and reports.

Utilize accounting software, SQL to maintain, reconcile, and extract financial data for reporting and analysis.

Prepare periodic reports on fund performance, income statements, and budget variances.

Collaborate with operations, legal, and compliance teams to ensure smooth trustee operations.
Work together with other business units on a team collaboration to complete the task.

Any other ad hoc task assigned by the company.


Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience for Finance Manager and 3 years for Senior Finance Executive in finance/accounting roles preferably in trustee companies, banking, or fund management.

Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations, Employment Act, and trustee compliance requirements.

Proficient in SQL for data management and reporting.

Hands-on experience with financial software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

High integrity and ethical standards essential for fiduciary responsibilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Leadership skills (for Finance Manager) and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
