About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Executive/Executive (Construction & Developer) to join the team at Pinnacle Homes Groups of Companies, a leading construction and property development company based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for providing and managing strategic all financial guidance and oversight to our construction and property development operations, playing a critical part in our continued success.

What you’ll be doing
  • Manage and oversee all financial aspects of construction and property development projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Prepare, process and maintain accurate financial analysis and recommendations to support the company's strategic decision‑making process
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial and accounting standards, tax regulations, internal and company policies
  • Prepare and manage to present the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for construction and property development projects
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, other financial planning activities and treasury analyses
  • Collaborate with internal departments, project managers, site supervisors, other internal and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision‑making
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize financial processes and controls
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Providing support and guidance to the finance team, as needed. Supervise and mentor to develop junior members of the finance team, as required
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
  • Generating financial reports, statements, and analysis to support management decision‑making
  • Liaising with internal departments, external stakeholders, such as auditors and tax authorities
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior/ head of department
What we’re looking for
  • Least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar finance role, preferably within the construction and property development industry
  • Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, standards, procedures, regulatory requirements and treasury operations
  • Excellent analytical, attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy, problem‑solving skills and resourceful thinking with the ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and reporting tools in major Microsoft Windows and Office suite would be added advantages
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams
  • Proven track record of managing and developing finance teams
  • Relevant professional qualifications, such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field equivalent, and a professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is highly desirable
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team
  • Proficient in written and spoken in English, Bahasa Malay and Mandarin to effectively communicate with especially Mandarin‑speaking all levels of internal and external stakeholders. Ability to communicate local dialects with all levels of stakeholders internally/externally would be an added advantage
  • Confident, proactive and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
