Job description

The Senior Finance Executive will handle a full set of accounts and perform day-to-day operational tasks for the Construction company.

  • Handle full set of accounts and perform day-to-day operational works of the Construction company.
  • Maintain updated accounting records.
  • Monitor and ensure Trade Receivable and Payable reconciliation are updated.
  • Prepare monthly analysis of project costing, material quantities, supplies and consumption, project attributable profit, estimated GP margin, percentage of completion, etc.
  • Preparation of monthly financial and management reports.
  • Prepare audit schedules and account reconciliations to assist in audit matters (e.g., preparing and providing documents to auditors) to ensure a smooth and successful audit process.
  • Ensure tax compliance and coordinate year-end audits.
  • Prepare yearly income tax estimations and revise tax budgets.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries, suppliers, etc.
  • Manage and monitor current accounts and daily cash positions. Ensure that the company’s commitments are met and highlight any foreseeable shortage of funds or cash flow deficits.
  • Liaise with bankers on relevant documentation (e.g., prepare loan drawdown letters) and follow up accordingly.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Members of MIA, ACCA, or equivalents are welcome to apply.
  • At least 5 years (Senior Executive), 8 years (Assistant Manager) of working experience in the Construction industry.
  • Good skills in analysis, coordination, and follow-up.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Knowledge of IFCA system is an added advantage.
  • Cheerful, positive, open-minded, and willing to learn.
