A leading company focused on healthcare solutions seeks a Senior Finance Executive to manage accounting operations, oversee financial reporting, and maintain compliance with internal control procedures. The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting and at least 5 years of relevant experience, excelling in interpersonal and analytical skills to drive financial accuracy and efficiency.
The Senior Finance Executive is responsible to oversee the daily operations of Account Payable Account Payable sections, staff claims section, Miscellaneous Account receivable and billings functions, treasuries functions, fixed asset ledger and credit card reimbursement monitoring and ensures that all payments are valid, accurate and timely and has been processed and approved in accordance with proper internal control procedures and SOPs.
He / she is also responsible in ensuring timely closing of the GL and generation of financial reports.
JOB CONTENT:
Update General Ledger and ensure the integrity, validity, accuracy and completeness of the data key-in and interfaced to the system and the reports generated from the system.
Manage the Account Payables and ensure that all IHT and other company’s payments are accurate and on time and have been appropriately processed and approved following proper internal control procedures. Review the reports generated from the system for any corrective actions.
Do the monthly closing of accounting ledgers.
Generate the monthly reports from General Ledger and Accounts Payables system to ensure their completeness and accuracy.
Checks the accuracy of invoices for payments, and their outstanding balances are accurate and reflected adequately in the account and statements.
Make all vendor payments through cheques, bank drafts or telegraphic transfers.
Ensures all recurring payments are paid on time.
Liaises with the vendors, the bank and other department managers on matters relating to payments to the vendors.
Ensures that all monthly AP transactions are posted to the General Ledger at the end of every month and that these transactions are properly reflected in IHT Rehab accounts and AP system is properly and timely closed.
Ensures that all the documents are properly filed and stored.
Performs any other related duties as assigned by the CEO & Chief Financial Officer.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
Degree in Accounting or other professional accounting qualification
At least 5 years working experience in the accounting environment
Good interpersonal, supervisory and management skill
Good analytical and problem-solving skill
Conversant with computerized accounting system
