Job description

Our client, a well-established regional company specializing in premium office leasing and business space solutions, is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Executive to join their Kuala Lumpur team.

Location: Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure timely month-end and year-end closings.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and internal management reports.
  • Manage all core accounting and finance functions, including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Payments, Accounts Receivable & Invoicing (in collaboration with the Operations team) and Fixed Asset Management, Bank Reconciliations & Tax Reporting and Accounting Schedules & Reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly and annual tax filings, and compliance with local financial regulations.
  • Manage HR-related functions such as payroll, employee benefits, and compensation.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and government authorities.
  • Maintain and enforce internal controls and compliance with group policies and procedures.
  • Support other ad-hoc accounting and finance tasks as required by management.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3 to5 years of relevant experience (experience in a foreign direct investment [FDI] environment is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and a high sense of responsibility.
  • Able to work independently and perform under tight deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.
  • Independent, meticulous, and eager to learn.
