TE Connectivity Ltd. in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Analyst III for plant operations to gather financial data, perform analysis, and prepare reports that guide strategic decisions in manufacturing.

You will support planning, budgeting, forecasting, inventory risk analysis, costing, and fixed assets accounting while ensuring compliance with TE policies and standards. Strong SAP and English/Malay/Mandarin language skills are required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/taxation or related.
• 7–10 years working experience as Finance Analyst with manufacturing variances and forecasting.
• Good knowledge and experience in costing of manufacturing; manage Mfg variance.
• SAP experience.
• Fluent English, Malay & Mandarin, both written and oral.
• Strong will to learn and develop the skills.

Responsabilidades

• Gathers financial information, analyzes them, and prepares financial reports that contribute to the plant's strategic decision-making.
• Encompassing planning, budgeting, reporting, and internal controls to ensure adherence to applicable regulations, accounting standards, and principles.
• Assist on annual budget preparation and monthly forecast preparation.
• Track weekly forecast variance and provide accurate and timely reports.
• Inventory reserve preparation, monitor inventory physical count, and highlight risks and opportunities monthly.
• Data preparation (Master data/Routine/Std cost); Month-end JE booking; PPV program and analysis; Material usage analysis; Production scrap report preparing.
• Familiar with Capital Assets policy and comply with the policy; Prepare FA management reports and lead fixed assets physical count; Issuing Asset Tags; Intercompany Transfers of Fixed Assets data prepping and follow to financial posting.
• Coordinate and support annual audit by providing information and justification to auditor.
• Cross company business support including cost comparison and identifying gross margin optimization opportunities.
• Cross function support for project margin analyzing and providing useful information to team.
