Key Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing activities and prepare monthly management accounts (full set of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable) along with notes to accounts within the required timeline.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting and submission of monthly/periodic financial and management reports.
• Handle daily accounting operations for the Group, including supplier payments, managing payables/receivables, preparing month-end bank reconciliations for all bank accounts, and recording general ledger transactions.
• Prepare monthly debtors and creditors aging reports.
• Process transactions for disposal or addition of fixed assets and run depreciation in the ERP system.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies as required.
• Collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure alignment with financial goals and objectives.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as and when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software, preferably ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proactive, responsible, and results-oriented with a positive working attitude.
• Strong willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin.
