Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to support Sabah operations. You will plan preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinate technicians and subcontractors, and provide technical guidance for Carrier HVAC systems.

Responsibilities include site inspections, testing, commissioning, and reporting, with strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Travel within Sabah and to remote sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC Engineering or related discipline.
• HVAC/Refrigeration certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years in HVAC/refrigeration or related field.
• Experience with chiller servicing and troubleshooting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for Sabah customers.
• Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, spare parts, tools, and equipment.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Carrier HVAC equipment.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning and technical assessment.
• Ensure service reports and recommendations are completed promptly.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors to ensure quality and safety.
• Support service sales with technical information and proposals.
