Qualifications

Job Overview

The Senior Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operations, maintenance, and management to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective environments that support organizational objectives and enhance workplace experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive facilities management strategies and operational plans
  • Oversee maintenance programs for building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and security
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service delivery meets or exceeds established standards
  • Direct capital improvement projects and space planning initiatives
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets with focus on cost optimization and value creation
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards
  • Lead emergency response protocols and business continuity planning
  • Supervise facilities staff and provide mentorship for professional development
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators for facilities operations
  • Implement sustainability initiatives and energy management programs
  • Collaborate with various departments to align facility operations with organizational goals
