Job summary

Flex was founded to be a leading partner in designing and delivering advanced facilities for manufacturing. The Senior Facilities Engineer will be based in Bukit Minyak, Penang, and will apply engineering principles to design, modify, or develop plant facilities, equipment, and processes used in production.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 6+ years of related experience, with expertise in clean rooms, utility systems, cGMP environments, and FRACAS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of related facilities engineering experience.
• Experience with clean rooms, HVAC, water systems, utilities.
• CGMP environment experience; medical devices or pharma preferred.
• Fault/Root Cause Analysis (FRACAS) and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Research facility products and equipment specs to define designs.
• Define feasibility of new or modified plant facilities equipment.
• Provide technical facilities information for manufacturing planning.
• Compile research data to establish performance standards.
• Study publications to stay updated on industry changes.
• Use CAE software to perform engineering tasks.
• Guide projects and project teams.
