A leading company in the logistics sector is seeking a Sales Executive to enhance its presence in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets by identifying new clients and markets while building strong relationships with existing stakeholders. A minimum of five years' experience in the oil and gas sector and strong negotiation and communication skills are essential. Responsible for achieving the sales target set by HQ in the oil and gas industry.
Actively seek out new sales opportunities by identifying and targeting potential clients, including exploring new markets and industries.
Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, referrals, and industry-specific channels.
Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients in the oil and gas sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing/new BCOs and industry stakeholders to understand their evolving needs, address concerns, and secure repeat business.
Develop a deep understanding of the oil and gas products and services provided by the company.
Collaborate with clients to design tailored solutions that meet their specific operational and business objectives.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients and suppliers to secure profitable, long-term agreements.
Stay informed about industry trends, oil and gas market conditions, and emerging technologies.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards, especially in transportation and logistics related to oil and gas.
Work closely with cross-functional teams in the company, such as operations and customer service, to ensure the successful execution of contracts and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications with a minimum of 5 years’ sales/business development experience in the oil and gas industry.
Solid and demonstrated working knowledge of the oil and gas sector, including upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Ability to research, identify, target, grow, and close business opportunities while ensuring strong collaboration with product and operations teams.
Results-driven, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent negotiation, consultative, and relationship management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and work efficiently under pressure.
