Job summary

A leading accounting firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced auditor to perform audits, assess internal controls, and conduct financial due diligence reviews. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or a recognized professional qualification, at least 3 years of audit experience, and strong communication skills. Candidates should be willing to travel for work assignments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or a professional qualification recognized by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant audit experience.
• Ability to travel outstation for work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit of public and private companies in accordance with the approved standards.
• Assess the sufficiency and adequacy of internal controls and accounting records.
• Conduct financial due diligence reviews and agreed upon procedures.

Skills

Overview

• To perform audit of public listed and private limited companies in accordance with the approved standards of auditing and internal audit programmes.


• To perform assessment of the sufficiency and adequacy of internal controls and accounting records of an entity.


• To perform financial due diligence review, agreed upon procedures, and other related services.

Requirements
