Job summary

Lynas Rare Earths Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Executive Treasury to join our Kuala Lumpur Finance Department. You will support daily cash flow monitoring, banking operations, and FX hedging to ensure liquidity and regulatory compliance.

Strong communication across teams is essential. The role requires a 5+ year background in treasury or corporate finance, with a finance degree and professional qualification; fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Banking with professional qualification and MIA membership.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate treasury or corporate finance, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and ERP knowledge.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily cash flow monitoring and prepare short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to ensure liquidity.
• Manage banking operations including facility utilization, drawdowns, deposits, transfers, and other treasury transactions.
• Monitor FX market and support FX transactions and hedging activities.
• Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Support treasury reporting, compliance, and internal control processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement and Management on cash planning matters.

An exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Executive Treasury to join our Finance Department at Kuala Lumpur office.
He/ she will support the treasury operations activities across Lynas Rare Earths, including cash management, banking activities, and foreign exchange monitoring in ensuring smooth liquidity management according to the business’ objectives and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Execute daily cash flow monitoring and prepare short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
• Manage banking operations including facility utilization, drawdowns, deposits, transfers, and other treasury transactions.
• Monitor and report on foreign exchange market and support the execution of FX transactions and hedging activities.
• Maintain strong and close working relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Support treasury reporting, compliance, and internal control processes.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and Management on cash planning matters.

Requirements of the successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Banking preferably with professional qualification such as CPA/ ACCA/ CIMA/ CA or equivalent and member of MIA.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate treasury or corporate finance role preferable in manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency and working knowledge of ERP software.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to confidently interact with people of all cultures at all levels.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Additional language will be an advantage.
• Must be willing to work in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
