A leading company in HR consulting is seeking a Senior Executive to coordinate client portfolios and support HR operations. The role involves ensuring effective HR service delivery, managing payroll operations, and facilitating employee engagement initiatives. The right candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree and several years of relevant HR experience, coupled with strong communication and analytical skills to enhance organizational performances.
This role serves as the key coordination point for assigned client portfolios or Business Units, supporting the Consultants in delivering HR consultation and operational excellence. The Senior Executive partners with the Consultants and clients to ensure that HR services and initiatives contribute to the client company’s operational, people, and business outcomes. The role focuses on the hands-on delivery of HR processes while building foundational HR advisory and business partnering skills.
What you'll be doing
General HR Operations
Handle minor employee disciplinary and grievances, conduct investigations, and recommend solutions.
Support the implementation of disciplinary procedures under the guidance of HR consultants.
Attend client meetings with the Consultant(s) and provide basic HR advisory where appropriate.
Execute assigned tasks in ad-hoc HR and Talent Management projects (e.g. new client onboarding, employee records management).
Collaborate with clients and internal HR team to support improvements in HR processes, systems, and onboarding practices.
Assist in reviewing and recommending process improvements and HR best practices.
Stay informed of compensation trends through research and support salary benchmarking exercises.
Manage client payroll operations, including overtime calculations.
Performance Management
Assist in guiding managers and employees on completing performance reviews and probation assessments.
Monitor performance review cycles and follow up with clients on deadlines and progress tracking.
Support initiatives that promote a performance-driven culture, such as coordinating communications, templates, and tracking tools.
Learning and Development
Source potential training providers and support training program logistics and effectiveness tracking.
Prepare documentation and assist with HRD Corp (HRDC) grant applications and claims processing.
Assist trainers in preparing training materials.
Employee Engagement
Coordinate and execute employee engagement activities and initiatives for assigned clients.
Compile and analyze employee survey data and assist in preparing reports and materials for client discussions.
Support the facilitation of employee engagement survey cycles and action planning follow-ups.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
2 to 4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with exposure to general HR Operations or client-facing HR roles.
Solid knowledge of the Employment Act 1955 and related labor laws.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and communication skills.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Power BI, Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
