A leading company in Malaysia seeks a Senior Executive for Sales and Distributor Management in KL & Selangor. The role encompasses managing distributor relationships, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring effective inventory management. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and experience in distributor sales within the FMCG sector.
Manage and develop a portfolio of appointed distributors to achieve business objectives.
Monitor distributor performance and ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structure, and promotional guidelines.
Collaborate with distributors to plan and implement sales strategies, trade promotions, and marketing campaigns.
Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities.
Ensure proper stock levels, timely ordering, and effective inventory management at distributor level.
Analyze sales data and market trends to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Identify new market opportunities and drive product penetration in assigned territories.
Monitor performance vs. objectives, provide continuous coaching and feedback, and conduct appraisals.
Train and support distributor sales teams to enhance product knowledge and selling capabilities.
Work closely with internal departments (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to support distributor needs and resolve issues.
Minimize credit risk exposure by ensuring collections and credit applications are in line with approved credit terms and limits.
Participate in supply-chain-related projects to improve operational efficiency and distribution.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates for management review.
