Job description

This is a full-time sales role located in SplashMania for Leisure & Hospitality division to promoting GL Play's products (SplashMania, Discovery Park, Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands, Quayside, Xploria and Fun Park)

The Sales Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities, including building and maintaining customer relationships, providing excellent customer service, conducting park tour, and managing the group sales event at respective parks and attractions.

You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Implement sales plan to meet or exceed established company goals in term of footfall and revenue.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals to prospective customer by highlighting our services and products.
  • Identify and implement improvement to smoothen the sales operation procedures.
  • Understand customer requirements and ensure that the products and services offered correspond effectively based on their needs.
  • Conduct site inspections for potential clients.
  • Attend regular communication meetings with operations staff to update on event details.
  • Ensure effective and close communication within the department and other departments.
  • Maintain timely and responsive communication with clients.
  • Always ensure that a hospitable service atmosphere is projected at all times in the hospitality business.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Hotel or Tourism Industry.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English to meet business needs. Mandarin speaking is an advantage
  • Good communication, interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
