The Senior Executive, Project Management is responsible for supporting, coordinating, and monitoring projects and initiatives within MAG to ensure they meet their intended objectives, quality standards, timelines, and financial targets. This role plays a pivotal part in assisting the Project Manager with defining and enhancing project management processes, standards and governance frameworks, and best practices contributing to quality reviews, risk assessments, and project performance tracking, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with strategic business goals.

Key Accountability
  • Governance & Control
  • Support the accountable manager in planning and managing the project framework, ensuring adherence to governance and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor project progress with diligence, providing value-added insights and advisory support where possible.
  • Establish and maintain a structured reporting mechanism to keep management informed of project developments.
  • Act as the liaison between the Accountable Manager and all project implementers and owners, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
  • Planning, Reporting & Control
  • Track and follow up on project progress, ensuring timely updates and reporting to the Accountable Manager and the MAG leadership team where applicable.
  • Implement corrective actions where necessary to keep projects on track.
  • Conduct research, gather data, analyze trends, and provide insights to support organization-wide operations and decision-making.
  • Project Management
  • Support the planning and execution of status update meetings for key projects within MAG.
  • Collaborate with the Accountable Manager to develop project management guides and best practices, incorporating contributions from Project Managers and Project Implementation Leads.
  • Organize workshops to identify areas for improvement in project execution, document key recommendations, and present them to the MAG leadership where applicable.
  • Ensure the successful completion of projects and special assignments by establishing clear objectives, managing priorities, and coordinating efforts across teams.
  • Monitor project progress, identify challenges, and implement necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess effectiveness, document lessons learned, and propose enhancements to strategies, operational plans, policies, and processes
Qualification & Working Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or other related field from recognized higher institutions
  • 2 years experience in project management, coordination, governance, management support or other relevant areas
