Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee property development projects from inception to completion. The role requires a strong background in civil engineering or town planning, with at least 5 years of experience in property development. Job description

  1. Responsible for the smooth & proper execution of planning / implementation of projects from conception to completion. Knowledge in land acquisition and project inception feasibility would be an advantage.
  2. Involved in concept design, plan checking, feasibility study, tender preparation and award, project implementation until CCC.
  3. Technically sound and able to understand authority’s requirements and compliances.
  4. Proficient in drawing detailing and coordinating with consultants on discrepancies.
  5. Liaise with consultants and authorities for submissions to ensure approval within stipulated timelines.
  6. Monitor construction progress to ensure project completion within deadlines and according to approved drawings and specifications.
  7. Attend authorities/consultant meetings & prepare reports if necessary.
  8. Prepare project-related reports for top management meetings and briefings.
  9. Coordinate with internal departments on project matters.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.
Requirements
  1. Preferably possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Town Planning from a recognized institution.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in property development.
  3. Familiar with authority requirements and compliances, work scheduling/planning, and report writing.
  4. Possess own transport and able to travel.
  5. Positive attitude, organized, able to meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
  6. Skills in MS Office, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, etc.
  7. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
