Job summary

JUlies Marketing Sdn Bhd in Alor Gajah, Melaka is seeking a qualified candidate for a Production Supervisor role. The ideal candidate will ensure production operations meet specifications, uphold ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000, OH&S and HAS requirements, and support management in policy execution.

You should have a relevant diploma or degree in Food Technology/ Food Science/ Manufacturing, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and be able to work on shifts with independence.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Food Technology/ Food Science/ Manufacturing or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
• Able to make effective and firm decisions.
• Able to adapt in a hot environment.
• Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Computer-literate; proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Able to work on shift.
• Possession of own transport is preferred.
• Based in Alor Gajah, Melaka.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Manager (Production) in planning and executing management policies.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000, OH&S and HAS.
• Oversee production operations: mixing, forming, baking and creaming; ensure products meet specifications.
• Minimize department manufacturing/production rejects and wastages.
• Analyze and resolve any product not conforming to specifications.
• Conduct training for workers as required.
• Ensure workers follow company and departmental rules.
• Report day-to-day operations to the superior.
• Assist superior in achieving department goals and KPI targets.
• Undertake any other duties as instructed by superior and/or company.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Possess at least Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology/ Food Science/ Manufacturing or equivalent.

• Able to speak and write fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
