Job Summary
To plan, organize, and implement activities aligned with Department marketing objectives, integrating directions from brand clients and local requirements through various marketing functions such as advertising & promotions, product management, and trade marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the P&L of the appointed agency(ies) within the assigned portfolio, ensuring the achievement of yearly objectives through sound marketing strategies and plans.
- Execute the approved Marketing Working Budget (MWB), optimizing funds to build brand awareness and promote sales.
- Strengthen mutually beneficial trading relationships with clients by enhancing value and meeting objectives.
- Gather market trend, market share, and competitive information to gauge the effectiveness of marketing activities.
- Balance various marketing activities, including brand building (media advertising, PR, sponsorships, product launches, sampling), product/category education (trainings, webinars), trade marketing activities (POSM deployment, fixtures, displays, campaigns), and consumer marketing (sampling, bundles, digital platforms).
General Responsibilities
Advertising & Promotion
- Formulate and monitor A&P strategies and assess their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with media agencies to ensure reasonable rates, effective touchpoints, and establish close relations with media partners.
- Implement consumer marketing activities like GWP and PWP to increase sell-through and market share.
Product Management
- Ensure product range and selection meet market trends and requirements.
- Monitor the brand’s responsiveness to consumer preferences at the local level.
- Manage inventory and trade returns within contractual agreements.
- Conduct financial feasibility studies for promotional activities to align with profit objectives.
Business Management
- Ensure marketing activities stay within the allocated A&P budget.
- Recover pre-financing of marketing activities within agreed terms.
- Coordinate with clients to secure funding for activities.
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel - Pivot Table, V-lookup).
Education
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
