Senior Executive, Procurement & Office Management [RID-00455]

Introduced in July 2018, Setel is a mobile platform that aims to delight customers by innovating for better, inclusive mobility. Setel serves customers across Malaysia by powering one app as the constant companion to ease motorists’ journey across fueling, parking, EV charging, motor insurance, road tax, auto assistance, general purchases, and more across an ecosystem of PETRONAS petrol stations, retail partners, and online merchants.

Role Purpose:

Manage and handle the sourcing of goods and services requested by business users for Setel Ventures Sdn Bhd (Setel), including liaising with suppliers to coordinate and liaise for timely delivery and preparing procurement reports to monitor the progress and status of all procurement activities.

In This Role You Will:

  • Manage contractor/supplier registration to ensure eligibility requirements are met, including background checks of contractors/suppliers and evaluation of new products/services to determine the suitability of vendors/products/services based on the advice from user departments.
  • Research and evaluate prospective suppliers and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers.
  • Review, compare, and analyze goods and services before purchase to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising specifications and quality requirements.
  • Execute end-to-end procurement activities, including the compilation of tender documents, statement of work, etc., in compliance with the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
  • Process and prepare purchase orders for issuance to vendors/suppliers and perform receipt of goods and services in accordance with the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
  • Produce procurement reports to better manage contracts/agreements by analyzing actual contract value utilization against budget to ensure spending is within the approved amount and monitor contract expiry.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all signed contracts/agreements and the contract register to ensure timely renewal.
  • Assist with related tasks, projects, and other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration Purchasing Management, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience in startup companies is a bonus.

  • Ability to multitask and attention to detail.
  • Capability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
