The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in procurement, with strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. Job description

Responsibilities

1. Be responsible for the overall sourcing of company’s all packaging materials, supplies, consumables and 3rd parties’ services.
2. Provide sourcing support for business development, office equipment and parts, and merchandise and premiums / gifts for business activities.
3. Regularly look out for competitive quotations and perform price and terms negotiations to always ensure competitive deals without compromising product/service qualities.
4. Initiate, monitor and manage purchasing and supply activities until successful completion within the timeline stipulated. For below par service or product quality, ensure follow-up actions are carried out.
5. Maintain and keep records updated, which cover but not limited to packaging, labels, stationaries, and parts. Ensure healthy stock levels and prevent out of stock situation.
6. Meet the company’s expectations and policies in ensuring there are no supply disruptions and always have alternatives by having a panel of suppliers supplying similar products or services.
7. Develop, seek approval, and always maintain a systematic purchasing plans, and ensure consistent and quality implementation of the plans.
8. Regularly update on purchasing status, highlighting issues and provide solutions on challenges to the Management.
9. Provide periodic reporting to the Management.
10. Be part of the team participating in team projects for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations or other relevant field.
2. Minimum 3 years of working experience in Procurement.
3. Proficient in English; knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage for supplier communications.
4. Basic office software (e.g., MS Office).
5. Good communication and organizational skills
6. A fast and continuous learner, especially in this fast-changing technology-driven start-up environment
7. Ability to prioritize and perform effectively under pressure
8. Good interpersonal skills and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
9. Good in computer literacy
10. Strong integrity, commitment and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
