A leading company in the cinema industry is seeking a Fit Out Coordinator to provide support to its Planning & Design team. The role involves collaborating on architecture layouts, interior design, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Job Summary: providing support to the Planning & Design team in architecture layout, interior design look & feel, signage, including design drawings with consultants in building a practical & attractive cinema fit-out within the budget and timeline assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in develop preliminary architecture layout, interior look and feel, shop front/ façade design, furniture, signage design & other design elements.
Coordinate and integrate design drawings with input from consultants across various disciplines.
Collaborate and liaise with internal cross function departments.
Liaise with authority and consultants to obtain the necessary permits and approvals within project timeline.
Compile, organize, and maintain all relevant approvals, permits, and as-built drawings.
Prepare, update & compile of cinema design as per company’s latest standards and directions.
Support R&D efforts for cinema furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE).
Work closely with cinema operation team and relevant stakeholders (internal/ external) to ensure design solutions meet operational needs.
Maintain and manage proper documentation and archiving of all projects related data and files.
What you need?
Possess at least Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in related field.
Strong understanding of architectural and interior design principles, especially in retail environments.
Pro-active, resourceful, able to work independently and a strong team player.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop, Microsoft Suites including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Good command of written and spoken English.
