Job description

We are looking for an Senior Executive, Payroll & HR Operation to be responsible for performing end-to-end payroll and HR operations for Zalora Malaysia. This role will be based at Mercu 3, KL Eco City office.

Responsibilities:
  1. Compile payroll information collected from key stakeholders to ensure monthly payroll processes are completed on time.
  2. Ensure all necessary approvals and signatures are in order for the timely completion of the monthly payroll run.
  3. Update the HRIS with all data related to payroll matters.
  4. Support the preparation of periodic payroll reports for stakeholder review.
  5. Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and related transactions.
  6. Assist in responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving employee wage and statutory deduction concerns.
  7. Stay updated with payroll trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies within employment law.
  8. Lead or participate in HR-related projects and engagement events as assigned.
  9. Manage expatriate visa applications, cancellations, tax clearance queries, and related documentation.
  10. Administer employee benefits.
  11. Prepare letters related to the employee lifecycle.
  12. Manage HR operations such as maintaining personal files, payroll verification, tracking service confirmation, and contract expiry.
Requirements:
  1. At least 2-3 years of experience in a HR generalist role, specifically in payroll and HR operations.
  2. Exposure to HRIS and other HR databases.
  3. Good communication skills, analytical mindset, and meticulous data handling.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
  5. Willing to work in-office at KL Eco City with periodic travel (minimum 3 days/month) to Zalora Fulfillment Center at Section 23, Shah Alam.
