You will assist in implementing talent practices and people initiatives, acting as a reliable point of contact for employee questions and supporting change efforts within your assigned department(s). In this role, you will help coordinate and communicate people initiatives, gather feedback from employees, and support the department’s people agenda under the guidance of a senior HRBP. You will contribute to the smooth execution of HR processes, such as performance management and employee engagement activities, ensuring alignment with ZALORA’s goals. As a valued team member, you will help balance employee needs with business objectives by providing timely information, supporting policy implementation, and assisting in the development of a positive and inclusive workplace. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help drive successful people outcomes and contribute to the overall success of the organization. This role will direct report to the Senior Regional P&C Business Partner, you will play a key supporting role in helping business leaders and employees with people-related matters.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership:
- Support the Senior Regional P&C Business Partner in collaborating with department leaders to implement P&C strategies and initiatives that align with business goals.
- Assist in gathering information and preparing materials for meetings with business leaders.
Workforce Planning and Management:
- Help coordinate the manpower planning process by collecting and organizing data on headcount, organization structure, and budget requirements.
- Support the P&C COE/program teams and line managers in talent acquisition, talent management, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and rewards initiatives by providing administrative and logistical assistance.
Employee Engagement:
- Assist in the rollout and communication of employee engagement surveys and other feedback channels.
- Help analyze survey results and support the development and tracking of action plans to enhance employee morale and productivity.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee queries, escalating complex employee relations issues to the Senior HRBP as and when necessary.
- Support line managers in the documentation and coordination of conflict resolution, disciplinary, and grievance processes, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Learning and Development:
- Work with the Organisational & Talent Development team and line managers to help identify training needs and coordinate learning and development activities.
- Assist in tracking participation and feedback for training programs.
Change Management:
- Support organizational change initiatives by helping to communicate updates and resources to employees.
- Provide administrative support during transitions to ensure smooth implementation.
Data Analysis:
- Assist in collecting and organizing P&C metrics and analytics to help identify trends and support data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare basic reports and summaries for review by the Senior HRBP.
Project Management:
- Provide administrative and coordination support for P&C projects focused on continuous improvement.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and follow-up actions as directed by the Senior HRBP.
Requirements:
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. - Experience:
Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Human Resources or a similar supporting HR role. Experience in a fast-paced, matrix, or regional environment is an advantage. - Work location and expectations: Successful applicant is expected to be present at the office for work (5 days work week); operating from 2 locations, either at Mercu 3, KL Eco City (2 or 3 days per week) and Zalora Fulfilment Center at Section 23, Shah Alam (2 or 3 days per week)
- HR Knowledge:
Good understanding of HR principles and practices, including but not limited to industrial & employee relations, performance management, and talent management coupled with the ability to present and facilitate training sessions to employees on a need to basis is an added advantage for this role - Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to interact professionally with employees at all levels and convey information clearly. - Organizational Skills:
Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Analytical Skills:
Comfortable working with data, preparing reports, and using HR systems or Google Sheets to track and analyze HR metrics. - Teamwork:
Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support team members and work under the guidance of a senior HRBP. - Problem-Solving:
Proactive approach to identifying issues and supporting solutions, with the ability to escalate complex matters appropriately. - Confidentiality:

Proficient with HRIS (Oracle) and Google Workspace while also comfortable in learning new HR systems or tools.
