Job summary

A leading insurance provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a professional to process policies and ensure data accuracy. The role requires a minimum of three years of experience in health processing, along with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Insurance or Business Administration. Strong computer skills and effective communication abilities are essential. You will maintain documentation and liaise with IT to resolve discrepancies, among other responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Health processing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Process and check policy/endorsement to ensure accuracy.
  • Attend to incoming mails and submissions.
  • Maintain and organize submissions into the document management system.
  • Liaise with IT/UW to resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform User Acceptance Tests for new products and system enhancements.

Job description

Process and check policy/endorsement to ensure accuracy of the data captured

Ensure incoming submission and outgoing output complied to acceptance limits, guideline and procedures.

Attend to incoming mails/ submissions / correspondence • Attend to Straight Thru Process (STP) pending and failed cases

Maintain and organize submissions into the document management system

Liaise with IT / UW to resolve any discrepancies related to system glitches

Provide operational requirement and perform User Acceptance Test (UAT) for new products / system enhancement / bugs

Perform any other duties as may assigned by the supervisors

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Business Administration or Actuarial Science. Preferably with insurance related qualification such as AMII, ACII, AII and DMII.
  • Minimum 3 year experience in Health processing.
  • Computer skills i.e. Word and Excel.
  • Effective written and communication skills.
