Job description

Senior Executive of Quality Standards Development Department

Perform QoS data analytics to develop regulatory frameworks, ensuring sustainable policies and identifying quality gaps in service delivery.

Job Responsibilities

1. Analyze mobile network performance data (2G, 4G, 5G), including network utilization and optimization data, submitted by service providers, to ensure continuous improvement and positive consumer experience.
2. Develop data analytics visualizations for internal stakeholders using data from service providers, state offices, and user devices to facilitate rapid and accurate data analysis for regulatory standards development.
3. Conduct studies to determine appropriate regulatory frameworks for QoS and QoE in wireless broadband services, ensuring quality of service for consumers.
4. Benchmark best practices with other National Regulatory Authorities to develop effective regulatory frameworks for mobile broadband services.
5. Lead discussions on network service quality and optimization to support departmental and inter-division initiatives.
6. Participate in ITU-T meetings to review and recommend standards improvements in QoS and QoE.

Qualification & Work Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunication Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 from a reputable university.
• At least 6 years of experience in network optimization and data analytics within the telecommunication industry, preferably in mobile broadband services.
• Knowledge of Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 and related standards, especially on QoS standards.
• Deep understanding of mobile technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G), QoS, QoE, spectrum management, and relevant 3GPP and ITU-R reports.
• Skills in data visualization, data cleaning, and dashboard development.
• Strong leadership, analytical, decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work in Cyberjaya.
