Job summary

GEODIS Malaysia Sdn Bhd. seeks a Senior Executive Insurance, QHSE and Security to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the country.

You will train change agents, implement policies, lead audits, and manage insurance programs to safeguard assets. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in logistics or related fields, ISO/OHSAS auditing expertise, and 5–7 years in sustainability and quality management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management or related disciplines (with Operations Excellence preferred)
• Profound knowledge of ISO & Health & Safety and environmental matters
• Experienced in handling insurance and logistics related claims
• Academic working and thinking level
• 5-7 years experience in sustainability, business process management, quality management, project management, H&S, environmental matters
• Accredited lead auditor for ISO/OHSAS; Experience in Sustainability and Business Process Management preferred
• Knowledge in TAPA & GDP will be an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive continuous improvement and Road-to-Excellence using LeanSixSigma with cross functional teams and develop performance culture
• Implement operational excellence strategies to improve Reliability and performance visibility for the country and management team
• Develop and maintain a continuous improvement program pipeline using data from the GEODIS Global Satisfaction Survey
• Lead and mentor to develop Lean Six Sigma Green Belts, Black Belts and LeanChampions and conduct performance dialogues with departments and management
• Lead and manage GEODIS QHSE, Sustainability and Security through policy implementation, guidelines, audits and conformances
• Maintain and improve Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures across the country
• Manage certifications and accreditations including ISO, TAPA as applicable
• Manage country insurance programs and cargo insurance claims; act as Cargo Insurance Claim Champion
• Contribute to global BE plan and budget and monitor implementation
• Develop global policies; implement, optimize and ensure local compliance
• Identify developmental needs and opportunities; drive execution
• Develop KPIs for service and productivity; monitor workflows and drive process re-engineering
• Implement and maintain a global integrated Management System within the region
• Initiate and implement internal and external sustainability programs
• Develop customer solutions in cooperation with BD based on requests and market trends; regional scope
• Oversee changes of Integrated Solutions ensuring regional needs are met

Identify and drive continuous improvement and Road-to-Excellence using proven methodology such as LeanSixSigma with cross functional teams, departments and functions, developing the performance culture ofFaster, Better and Cheaper.

To implement operational excellence strategies to improve Reliability and performance visibility for the countryand the respective management team.

To annually develop and maintain a continuous improvement program pipeline and initiatives using data fromthe GEODIS Global Satisfaction Survey and proactively identify improvement opportunities with the management team.

To lead and drive the culture of continuous improvement by training, coaching and mentoring to develop the skills and competencies of new change agents (Lean Six Sigma Green Belts, Black Belts and LeanChampions) and regularly conduct performance dialogues with the departments and management teams.

Lead and manage the GEODIS QHSE, Sustainability and Security through policy implementation, guidelines,audits and conformances using suitable project management and reporting tools.

Lead, manage and improve the GEODIS QHSE, Sustainability and Security reporting and documentations by maintaining, updating and improving the existing Work Instructions (WIs) and Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs).

Lead and manage all certification and accreditations across the country as required by GEODIS, including but not limited to ISO, TAPA as applicable to the country & businesses.

Manage country’s insurance programs and claim processes.

Act as Cargo Insurance Claim Champion, coordinate with all relevant Parties to resolves cargo/shipments related insurance claims.

Contribute to annual global BE plan and budget, manage implementation and monitor realisation.

Contribute to development global policies. Implement and optimize, monitor, ensure consistency. Determine policies and procedures on local level.

Identify team and/or individual developmental needs/ opportunities and stimulate and ensure follow-up and execution

Contribute to development KPI's. Establish key data for KPI's of service and productivity. Monitor and optimize operational work flow. Execute re-engineering of country’s work processes.

Implement and maintain a global integrated Management System within region. Identify possibilities to standardise, ensure development at regional level and monitor compliance

Initiate, develop, implement and ensure realization of internal and external programs regarding sustainability

Develop customer solutions, in co-op with BD and based on customer requests and market trends; regional scale.

Manage the ongoing process of changes of Integrated Solutions in within the region of global the ManagementSystem by ensuring ongoing compliance with the needs from functional areas (operation/BD/HR/IT).

Contribute to establishment of a sustainable supplier selection and review process in co-op with Procurement.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management or related disciplines (with Operations Excellence preferred)
