Senior Executive, Infrastructure Site Engineer

We are a leading property developer engaged in high-impact infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, bridges, utilities, and earthworks. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our project team in Tanjung Malim. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in infrastructure works and a solid understanding of site operations and construction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Supervision: Supervise and monitor daily construction activities for infrastructure works including roads, drainage, earthworks, bridges, and utilities to ensure they are executed according to design specifications and within safety and quality standards.
2. Progress Monitoring: Track work progress against the project schedule and report any delays, challenges, or potential risks to the Project Manager or Engineer.
3. Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to contractors and subcontractors on-site. Interpret construction drawings and specifications, and assist in resolving technical issues.
4. Quality Assurance & Safety: Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and health & safety regulations. Conduct inspections and ensure corrective actions are taken where necessary.
5. Material & Resource Coordination: Monitor the delivery and usage of materials on-site, ensure proper storage, and coordinate with suppliers and vendors as required.
6. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate site records including daily site reports, site photographs, inspection records, and material logs. Prepare and submit necessary reports to the project team.
7. Liaison & Coordination: Coordinate with consultants, contractors, utility companies, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth progress and compliance with regulatory requirements.
8. Testing & Commissioning Support: Assist in infrastructure testing, inspections, and handover procedures in coordination with consultants and clients.
9. Problem Solving: Proactively identify site issues and propose practical solutions to avoid delays and cost overruns.

Requirements:

1. Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 2–4 years in infrastructure site supervision for Executive; Minimum 5–7 years with proven experience in large-scale infrastructure projects for Senior Executive.
3. Technical Skills: Knowledge of infrastructure construction methodologies (roads, drainage, bridges, etc.), ability to read and interpret construction drawings, proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project management tools.
4. Soft Skills: Good communication skills, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
5. Certifications (preferred): CIDB Green Card, Basic Safety Training (e.g., OSHA), or other site-related certifications.
