Responsibilities
- Work closely with Management to strategically plan HR initiatives that will benefit the company and encourage more efficient and beneficial work from employees.
- Maintain good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ensure legal compliance with HR regulations and applicable employment laws, and update/localize policies and procedures as required.
- Handle the overall recruitment process, including shortlisting, conducting background checks, arranging interviews, and preparing employment documents. Identify staff vacancies, recruit, interview, and select applicants.
- Coordinate and monitor training & development programs or employee relations activities within the organization.
- Oversee monthly payroll processing, payroll reports, statutory submissions, and ensure compliance with government authorities.
- Manage office administration, including licensing of trucks and trailers, liaising with government departments to maintain licenses, and overseeing the general upkeep of office facilities and equipment.
- Assist with any ad hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, Maritime, or other equivalent fields.
- Experience in logistics or related fields.
- Ability and desire to manage, lead, and influence teams with high self-motivation and ambition.
- Knowledge of HRMS software and MS Office for reporting and analysis.
- Own transportation and a valid driving license.
