Job Responsibilities

1. HSSE Advisory Services
2. Advise and monitor compliance with HSSE legal requirements for activities within hospital sites.
3. Advise Facility Management and Operations on HSSE-related matters.
4. Develop HSSE improvement plans based on workplace inspections or compliance assessments.
5. Identify HSSE hazards, conduct risk assessments, and propose risk control measures following the hierarchy of controls.
6. Support HSSE Leadership visits for top management and regional leaders at sites.
7. Accountable for HSSE matters at the base and coverage sites.
8. Safety Operation Services
9. Plan and conduct HSSE compliance assessments and inspections.
10. Organize HSSE committee meetings, serve as secretary, and coordinate EPMC meetings.
11. Implement activities based on HSSE Integrated Activity Plan and injury reduction plans.
12. Participate in HSSE online reporting and guide staff in using the online system.
13. Participate in HSSE Competency Gap Analysis.
14. HSSE Compliance
15. Monitor compliance with HSSE legal requirements within healthcare service sites.
16. Implement and maintain ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 certifications.
17. Assess HSSE compliance through workplace inspections and walkabouts.
18. Enforce rules and regulations among staff and contractors at sites.
19. HSSE Incident Management
20. Initiate incident investigations and report findings with practical recommendations.
21. Analyze incident statistics and trends across operation sites.
22. Accountable for incident reporting at coverage sites and verifying incident validity.
23. HSSE Performance
24. Monitor HSSE performance, ensure updates, and timely reporting.
25. Update HSSE performance reports monthly.
26. Follow up on audit findings.
27. Stakeholder Management
28. Participate in meetings and forums with HQ and regional groups.
29. Engage in external programs conducted by MOH, such as MQSH audits and Flying Squad audits by BPK/JKN.
30. Conduct HSSE-related training as requested by MOH.
31. Define HSSE terms of reference for users at sites.
32. Participate in external programs by authorities like DOSH, DOE, and BOMBA.
33. Respond to and follow up on notices from DOSH or DOE.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Occupational Safety & Health Management.
2. At least 5 to 10 years of experience in environmental management.
3. Hands-on experience in Safety & Health Management.
