Job Responsibilities
- HSSE Advisory Services
- Advise and monitor compliance with HSSE legal requirements for activities within hospital sites.
- Advise Facility Management and Operations on HSSE-related matters.
- Develop HSSE improvement plans based on workplace inspections or compliance assessments.
- Identify HSSE hazards, conduct risk assessments, and propose risk control measures following the hierarchy of controls.
- Support HSSE Leadership visits for top management and regional leaders at sites.
- Accountable for HSSE matters at the base and coverage sites.
- Safety Operation Services
- Plan and conduct HSSE compliance assessments and inspections.
- Organize HSSE committee meetings, serve as secretary, and coordinate EPMC meetings.
- Implement activities based on HSSE Integrated Activity Plan and injury reduction plans.
- Participate in HSSE online reporting and guide staff in using the online system.
- Participate in HSSE Competency Gap Analysis.
- HSSE Compliance
- Monitor compliance with HSSE legal requirements within healthcare service sites.
- Implement and maintain ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 certifications.
- Assess HSSE compliance through workplace inspections and walkabouts.
- Enforce rules and regulations among staff and contractors at sites.
- HSSE Incident Management
- Initiate incident investigations and report findings with practical recommendations.
- Analyze incident statistics and trends across operation sites.
- Accountable for incident reporting at coverage sites and verifying incident validity.
- HSSE Performance
- Monitor HSSE performance, ensure updates, and timely reporting.
- Update HSSE performance reports monthly.
- Follow up on audit findings.
- Stakeholder Management
- Participate in meetings and forums with HQ and regional groups.
- Engage in external programs conducted by MOH, such as MQSH audits and Flying Squad audits by BPK/JKN.
- Conduct HSSE-related training as requested by MOH.
- Define HSSE terms of reference for users at sites.
- Participate in external programs by authorities like DOSH, DOE, and BOMBA.
- Respond to and follow up on notices from DOSH or DOE.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Occupational Safety & Health Management.
- At least 5 to 10 years of experience in environmental management.
- Hands-on experience in Safety & Health Management.
