Job Title: Senior Executive, Graphic Designer
Department: Retail Mall Operations
Reports To: Mall Operations Manager
Job Purpose
- To lead and execute creative visual communications that enhance brand visibility, customer engagement, and promotional impact across Naim’s mall developments in Miri and Bintulu.
- The role focuses on supporting marketing campaigns, mall activations, tenancy promotions, and internal branding efforts through high-impact graphic designs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Creative & Visual Design
- Develop engaging visual assets for print, digital, social media, and event materials including buntings, posters, brochures, LED screen content, and signage.
- Create design templates and guidelines that align with Naim’s brand identity across both malls.
- Produce video editing and motion graphics for mall events, tenant promotions, and digital screens.
2. Marketing Support for Mall Campaigns
- Collaborate with marketing teams to conceptualize and execute mall-wide campaigns, festive activations, and seasonal branding themes.
- Design promotional materials and point-of-sale assets for tenants and anchor stores.
- Liaise with event vendors, printers, and production houses to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Design visuals for use in Facebook, Instagram, website banners, and EDMs.
- Assist in photo editing, typography, and brand storytelling through visuals.
- Coordinate photography and videography requirements during mall events or promotional shoots.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with the mall operations and leasing team to understand tenant needs and support promotional collaborations.
- Participate in creative brainstorming with tenants for joint promotions or co-branding efforts.
5. Administrative & Coordination
- Maintain design archives, artwork backups, and versioning documentation.
- Ensure all materials comply with branding and regulatory standards.
- Track design requests and meet deadlines across concurrent projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in creative design or in a retail/mall environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating skills in branding, digital and print design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro or After Effects is a plus).
- High creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organization and time management.
Additional Advantage
- Experience in property development or shopping mall campaigns.
- Ability to handle design adaptations for bilingual materials (Bahasa Malaysia & English).
- Familiarity with Sarawak’s cultural context and audience is a plus.
